Today I would like to touch upon, in my opinion, an important topic concerning the practice of the artist within the framework of visual creativity. Without claiming to be the truth in the last instance, I will still try, based on personal experience, to try to explain the importance of using and crossing different media in the creative kitchen when solving certain visual tasks.
With the development of technology, the arrival of digital images, the appearance of a web environment and a computer interface, the range of creative opportunities for artists of all directions has significantly expanded. This is dictated not only by the spontaneity of technological progress, but also by the global need for new technologies to solve creative tasks that traditional media cannot cope with, such as web design, film and game industry, applied digital illustration, 3D graphics, and many other similar areas of visual content. In turn, having both significant differences from traditional media and many similarities, the digital environment is still closely related to the techniques and visual effects used in physical materials and, in my opinion, has quite a few points of intersection.
